Newsec, an international real estate advisory company, has set up a new company in Lithuania, Newsec Project Management, which will engage in the management of construction projects. In the past, this service had been provided under the name “Office FIT-OUT” in Newsec’s portfolio.
“The newly established company Newsec Project Management will continue the activity of construction project management, which we have been performing at Newsec to date. Our team has gathered a lot of experience in dealing with office, shopping centre and residential construction projects; therefore the establishment of an individual company will make it possible to further purify and strengthen these competencies and to provide customers with high-quality construction project management services,” said Mr Ugnius Meidus, the CEO of Newsec.
Mr Tadas Grincevičius, who had been managing Newsec’s office equipment projects since 2016, has been appointed Director of Newsec Project Management.
According to Mr T. Grincevičius, the company has started providing the services of integral construction project management upon noticing the growing need of organizations to plan and equip offices according to their individual needs. Newsec has provided project management services to such clients as SEB bankas, Uber, TranferGo, Skandia, etc. The largest projects implemented include Danske Bank Global Services Centre (~1,500 workplaces), the Vilnius Office of Gjensidige (~350 workplaces), the major repairs project of Kaunas Akropolis (the area of ~10 thousand sq. metres).
“This year the total area of modern offices has exceeded the limit of 600 thousand sq. metres in Vilnius. In the next two years, it should increase by approximately 30-35%. Rapid construction of new business centres generates a growing need for efficient management and optimization of the construction process. The specialists of Newsec Project Management will help to satisfy this need,” said Mr T. Grincevičius.
